I’d like to share a fun picture sorting activity that I do with my students to help them learn letter sounds. This also builds alphabet awareness and vocabulary!

For each letter of the alphabet, there are 4 cards and 2 big cards per page with the uppercase and lowercase letters. That’s a total of 13 sheets and over 104 small cards.

How can these alphabet sorting cards be used?

With this fantastic set of alphabet sorting flashcards, you can help support your children in learning to match letters with their corresponding sounds. Children will learn to sort and recognize all the letters in the alphabet in a fun and engaging way.

You can use this resource for a variety of literacy and early sound activities, independently, in a small group, or with the whole class.

Helping kids learn the relationship between letter names and letter sounds helps prepare them for learning to read and write. These beginning sounds and alphabet activities are a very useful addition to PreK and Kindergarten literacy centers.
